🏝️ Celebrated our frand's birthday with a beach side picnic. Spent hours talking about anything and everything.
We shared our worries about the future. I talked about not feeling financially secure, even though I have ~4 years of runway. Meaning I can choose to not work for 4 years if I wanted to. (Got big sighs and eyerolls all around 🙄). They suggested moving to Thailand to extend that to 8 years. I'd never thought of that.
No one took out their phones. We were having such a good time we forgot to take photos.
I think it's so important to have a chosen family like this.
It was cloudy the whole time, so I didn't think I'd get sunburnt, but apparently I did.
