Today I began filling out as many Upwork sections as possible. It'll help weight my profile better and improve ranking in search results.

What I have left to do:
  • Verify my ID ( Done!)
  • Record an intro video 🥶
  • Add 3 portfolio projects (1/3 completed)
  • Create 3 fixed-price projects

You can add any portfolio project you want, so I started with Best SaaS Boilerplates. But rather than simply saying "Hey I made this directory with Next.js", I wanted to highlight the fully automated submission-to-publication pipeline I built with Make. Framing it this way makes it more relevant to the "AI Automations Specialist" title on my profile.
I'm quite proud of this tbh.

🍌 Updated Splittu's "Add to Homescreen" prompt so that it only appears after the user has created at least one Group. And moved it to the bottom of the page, so it won't block the banana icon in the header.

Read "Not disruptive, and proud of it". Jason Cohen's whole point is that you don't need to revolutionise anything to build something valuable. Do you know that Google was the 11th search engine? And the iPod wasn't the first MP3 player? They made existing things better.

That's what I'd like to learn and practise doing from here on out. Take an idea that exists, simplify it, make it delightful. No "disruption" or "paradigm shifts". Focus on good execution. Feels more sustainable (and frankly less exhausting) than trying to change the world.

Done today:

✓ client follow-up
✓ added portfolio project to Upwork
✓ coded on Splittu, installed PostHog
✓ signed up for CJ.com (bloody slow ass UX, I can literally feel myself aging while using it)
✓ chest workout

The week so far has been the best. WHOOP says my sleep consistency still needs work, but my brain seems more calm, disciplined, and optimistic. I credit the rainy 25ºC weather we've been having, and daily exercise.
