I have one more time block to go but I'm bailing on it so I can end my day early. I'm gonna have dinner on time and sleep early. Past two weeks I've been eating & sleeping late and racking up horrific sleep debt.
Been checking out other people's Upwork profiles, and watching a bunch of roasts to see how I can improve. Nick personally roasts each one on Maker School; yeah he's that serious! (Which is why I keep saying the monthly fee is worth it.) By tomorrow I should be able to record a short intro video and complete my profile.
I also learnt we can sell predefined projects on Upwork. Basically productised services, complete with pricing tiers! This makes selling a lot easier. Tomorrow I'll figure out how to put together at least 3 services that I can offer.

Btw if you want to see exactly what I ship each day (including client work and workouts), come join me on WIP. Find me @poppacalypse. Lots of inspiring makers there like Mark Köhlbrugge (WIP founder), Pieter Levels, Fajar Siddiq, and Jason Leow.
What does 10,000 hours of pure curiosity look like — and can it pay $10,000 a month?

I sold a 13-year restaurant business in 2019, taught myself to code, and have been chasing every "what if" since. Real hours, real dollars, updated daily.
I've been self-employed for 20 years. My goal is to keep it that way for the next 20.
