macOS Automator's "Folder Action" is finicky. I get it to work, it processes a few files, then stops working. I restart the computer, and it works again. A few runs later, it stops working again wtf... It would be insane to keep restarting my laptop.

Finally figured out a fix: clear the queue!

When automator stops working halfway, do this:

  1. Look for the â› icon in your status bar - it should be spinning.
  2. Click on it to open up the Folder Action job queue.
  3. Click on each 🅧 and stop as many jobs as you like.
  4. Automator Folder Action should start working again.

Each time Automator stops working, go back to â› and clear a few jobs. It will resume working.
Automator job queue. Don't worry, none of it means anything. Here mine shows "25%" and "37%" even though there are zero jobs being processed.

New client work came in so spent all day doing that. No time for Vue Devs because it's late and I'm hungry.

Tomorrow I have lunch with OO, so I must wake up early to finish remaining client work first.
After lunch study CS50, then work on Vue Devs email notifications.
